This program features 1 night on board and 1 night in Labuan Bajo to give more chance to explore of the island of Rinca and Komodo to discover the dragons. However 2 nights program at Labuan Bajo with a full day boat trip to Komodo Island is also possible to be arranged.
Day 01 : LABUAN BAJO – RINCA “ON BOARD” (LD)
Upon arrival in Labuan Bajo, meeting services and directly tranfer to a restaurant for lunch and then onward to the harbor in order to embark a chartered boat to Rinca Island. Upon arrival in Rinca, take a trek into the interior to trace the dragons and wildlife which is the main program of the day. Overnight on board.
Day 02 : RINCA – KOMODO – LABUAN BAJO (BLD)
Early in the morning set sail to Komodo Island passing narrow straits with strong currents. Once you arrive in Komodo , get ready to follow the trail to reach Banunggulung, the former feeding ground of the famous Komodo Dragons. It is about two km one way walking. There is the Komodo Nature Park Museum, take your chance to have look at it. About mid day return to Labuan Bajo, en-route stop at Pantai Merah, the pink coloured sand beach with a beautiful coral garden, perfect spot for swimming and snorkelling. Lunch on board. Return to Labuan Bajo for overnight.
Day 03 : LABUAN BAJO – DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, the whole morning is free program. En-route to the airport take a short visit Batu Cermin – the cave with stalactite and stalagmites.
