Day 01 : SOUTH BALl – PUPUAN & MAYONG – IJEN
Leaving your beach hotel in Bali to East Java, first taken through Bali’s heartland by way of Pupuan and Mayong with its beautiful rice terraces and countryside views next driving along Bali’s north west coastal road to Gilimanuk to board ferry to Ketapang harbor in East Java. Next transfer to hotel in Ijen area for check in.
Day 02 : IJEN (B)
After early breakfast depart by Jeep driving through sleepy villages, tropical rain forests and clove plantations to Pal Tuding where the 2 hours walk begins, walk through shady trek with amazing views leading to the rim crater. Exploration of the crater takes place at own leisure. Walk back to Pal Tuding and return to the hotel, rest of the day is free at own leisure.
Day 03 : IJEN – BROMO (B)
Leaving ljen for Bromo taking the Great Java Post Road by way of north coastal road passing Baluran National Park and Pasir Putih, late afternoon expected to reach Bromo. Check-in at a hotel and rest early to prepare next day early adventure.
Day 04 : BROMO – KALIBARU (B)
Rise early and by Jeep to Penanjakan View Point to see sunrise (weather allows) thence drive further down and on horseback across sand sea to reach the foot of Mount Bromo. Exploration takes place at own leisure. Back to the hotel for breakfast and shower before continuing the trip to Kalibaru is a small village surrounded by plantation grounds with typical Javanese atmosphere.
Day 05 : Kalibaru – Pekutatan (B)
After breakfast join a plantation walking tour to discover some tropical plants such as coffee, cacao, nutmeg and pepper thence continue to Ketapang harbor to get ferry to Gilimanuk, thence transfer to Pekutatan.
Day 06 : Pekutatan – Tanah Lot Departure (B)
Morning is free at leisure to relax and there are options of activities such as walking, cycling or visiting near by villages orginized by the resort. Afternoon check out and proceed to Tanah Lot, the iconic temple built on a barren rock by the ocean. Drop off to airport or your next beach hotel.
